Fred Meyer Pharmacy

I called today to get one of my Rx transferred from hospital to FM, since I use FM Pharmacy for my monthy Rxs. I was told to call the hospital pharmacy. Once I did that, the hospital pharmacy told me that FM has to make the request. So, had the customer service at FM done their job correctly the first time, I wouldn't be making multiple calls trying to get my Rx transferred, only the first call. Second call to FM goes much worse, Nicole answered and had a very coarse tone. When I told her what Rx it was she said it was out of stock. I said I couldn't hear her, its out of stock? I repeated myself a few times because she was not responding to me. I ask if it can be ordered or if I need a new pharmacy- since she is not responding to me. At this point she gets really rude and says I can find a new pharmacy if I want and accuses me of being very rude to her. I explain I feel as if she's been very rude to me and ask if I can please speak to someone else. She claims no one else is in the pharmacy and hangs up on me. I was a few minutes from the pharmacy so I drop in to see who just lost my business and who I need to name in my review and there are 5 people working in the pharmacy, including a pharmacist who can't keep his eyes open while speaking to me and is completely unconcerned about Nicole being rude, although he did confirm it was Nicole on the phone. Household of 6 will never use this pharmacy again. Both my Rx are extremely expensive, assuming the pharmacy gets a percentage of each Rx, pharmacist didn't seem to mind losing the business. I've never in my life been spoken to so rudely on the phone or hung up on when asking if I can please speak to someone else.

They are so curt it comes across as rudeness. I think it is the specific lady Nicole. Multiple times she has made me feel so badly about myself just for inquiring about the readiness of a prescription or just to call to fill a prescription. It is not hard to smile and be kind and I am lost as to why I am never given either... I have to come here for a single prescription because they are the only place that has it. Otherwise I would go elsewhere.

Customer service is not a priority at this facility. What seems to be a priority is minimally staffing the pharmacy, resulting in consistent poor service and exceptionally long wait times. Its no fault of the staff, all of whom seem to give their best. Shame on Freddys for patient and employee disregard.

Rude pharmacy technicians I don't recommend going here for prescriptions.
