Calvary Community Church

Ive gone to this church ever since I was a toddler, and there is no church I would rather attend. Calvary is more than a church, it is a community built to serve God, it is a safe place for people to grow and become closer to him.

Church has declined over the years. The church feels creepy and deceased much like the communities passion for service, only self image. The kind of church that argues over the color of the carpet. 10/10 not recommend. smh

I love this Church. The people are open and real. The music is deep, and richly meaningful. My favorite thing however is the Pastor, his messages are clear and powerful, with a touch of wit and humor. He always makes Sunday special, and reminds me that each day belongs to our Heavenly Father, not just one day a week. My advice, talk to people there, dont just sit and watch, theres a place to engage, to connect and to grow if you choose.

This is an amazing church that I am blessed to call my spiritual home. Pastor Curry's breadth of knowledge is astonishing; he is able to synthesize a message that speaks to all levels and keeps me engaged. On Sundays past I had been known to get lost in my own thoughts when a message did not speak to me where I lived, but since Pastor Curry took over I have been intent on learning more of God's Word. He has been attentive to the needs of his church; he and his staff looked out for ways to connect during a trying 2020; and the church has made me a better Christian with its teachings. This is the church where my children learn about God and the church I was married in 16 years ago. I am glad go see it continue under such strong leadership.

i started going there my 8th grade 5 years ago for youth group and i really like it there i have made friendships that will last me a lifetime. i also enjoy church there, pastor curry does a good job with his sermons and even if i dont go to church there all the time i always go to youth group.
