The only worthwhile reason to stay in this hotel is the view. We paid almost $500 to stay in a room that had a balcony and a view. The balcony wasnt furnished as well as a typical Express type hotel wouldve been much less a $500 a night hotel room. The room itself had an ac/heater in the bedroom that got neither hot nor cold. The hot tub didnt work. So much for that being worth it. There was no water even for purchase in the room. The makeup wipes were even dry and old. Which is how the entire hotel felt to us. Dry, old and past whatever prime it ever had. I cannot believe they charged this for this room/experience. Brazen to say the least.

The people were friendly but the room we had was not clean. There was garbage on the floor upon arrival, and the couch was stained and had debree under the cushions that was concerning. Under the bed was a small container of some sticky Marijuana product from a previous tenant that stunk to high heaven that's how I found it. The cleaning service was not good as they literally just provided new towels and did not even make the bed. The soda machine just took money but did not give sodas lol. It was not what I thought it will be for the ratings it had nor the price. I paid close to 800 dollars for 2 nights. Also no room service available and the smell throughout the hotel was horrible. It smelled like spices covering a really old musky cotton ball smell. Also the second night someone brought a yapping dog in waking us up but thank God that only lasted for 10 minutes or so. This is not a pet hotel though so I found it weird. They do provide a reserved free breakfast but all in all for the price I felt like an idiot for reserving here.

Ahhh I can't say enough about this place! We absolutely loved our stay here. Favourite part? fireplace in our suite, the wooden princess-style bed with curtains that made me feel like a princess coming straight out of Barbie in the Nutcracker movie, and of course the outdoor heated pool. The breakfast was also absolutely amazing! Don't miss out on the pancakes and the freshly whipped cream. 10/10! Will definitely be back.

About
Enzian Inn

1/2 block from downtown. Full breakfast buffet with Alphorn serenade. Indoor/outdoor pools and spas. Complimentary XC skis and Putting Course, Wireless. The Johnsons have always felt very blessed to have been able to call Leavenworth home. The beautiful scenery, the crisp mountain air, the wide variety of outdoor activities as well as the remarkable people who make up this little valley have led them to dream of sharing the Bavarian Village with others.Having a solid background in construction, in 1983, Bob and Nola and their son, Rob and his wife, Nancy, sat around the kitchen table gathering ideas and drawing up plans for the Enzian Inn. Building began in August of 1983 and in May of 1984, the doors opened on phase one of the Hotel. They've never stopped building since! A total of 104 rooms were finally built including the breakfast room, meeting rooms, indoor pool, hot tub and racquetball court. Also added was a picturesque 18 hole putting course featuring a 20 foot waterfall and traditional Alm Hutte. They have since expanded their dream to a breathtaking spot on Mountain Home overlooking the Leavenworth Valley. Their plans include a quaint downhill ski run and a scenic railroad with an antique German steam engine. The last twenty years have provided the Johnsons with an amazing opportunity to meet people from all over the world. They have found it to be a genuine joy to share with others this beautiful little spot in creation.
