My encounter with Lesley Haithcox, the managing partner at Basin Pacific Insurance, was deeply unsatisfactory. Her money-centric approach and disregard for client well-being left me frustrated from the beginning when her agency brokered my small business's insurance in 2019. From the start, her focus on maximizing commissions was clear. She sold us an expensive policy, which we found out the hard way didn't actually protect our business, ignoring our actual needs. Her dismissive attitude towards my inquiries over the years highlighted her lack of professionalism. Worse, she never notified us of a policy cancellation earlier this year. She even sent us a Certificate of Insurance MONTHS after the cancellation, leaving us unprotected while having no way of knowing this was the situation. Her negligence and knowing willingness to leave a client at significant risk revealed her poor client management. My company's experience and others I've talked to paint an image of an agent and agency lacking empathy and integrity, influenced by personal baggage. Lesley Haithcox is our insurance person and she and her staff have been nothing short of amazing both personal and business lines! Saved many family members a lot of money! Working with a good broker is the best way! This broker is imo the best!
