So upset!! Stayed at this hotel over a week ago. I left my AirPods and AirPod pros on my bed completely forgetting to put them in my bag as I was in a hurry to check out before my flight. I remembered as my flight was taking off and had to wait until getting off the plane to call the hotel. I called and was told they werent there and probably got mixed in with laundry. They were visible on the bed so I dont see as to how that would have happened. House keeping staff should have turned them in but it seems like they failed to do so. I was told by Bri the manager that they would look for them and I would be notified the next day. I had never got notified two days later and when I did call back, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that they werent going to bother looking for them anymore and thats its my fault that they were left in my room and shes not liable for them. She also stated that they are a franchise so theyre able to get away with whatever they want. I asked to be compensated for my items that were obviously stolen from me and she said no and when I asked to speak to her general manager, she said that shes the highest there is while laughing at me. She is extremely unprofessional and had been very unhelpful from the start. Then to come and find out there is someone who is apparently higher than her and has failed to reach out after being contacted. I cant believe they just allow their staff to take items from peoples rooms after leaving. I was told by Paige the front desk agent that they wouldnt take them, that there are cameras but I told her that there isnt cameras in the room and I work for a hotel as well and know how it can happen.I do NOT recommend staying at this hotel unless your okay with your items being stolen and nothing being done about it. Also had the front desk agent Robert call my personal number to tell me to stop contacting corporate about my stolen items I do not understand how that is okay or where he thinks as a regular employer that hes able to do so.

Rooms are big clean and well kept. Service was top notch. Area is not so great but tucked in the back. Right by highway but didn't really hear noise in the room. No in restaurant or bar. But nice breakfast and constantly well kept.

The front desk dude was extremely nice and great at holding a conversation. The rooms were good. Found a random pair of socks in my room. Cleaner folk must have missed them.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tacoma-Lakewood offers a mixed bag of experiences, leaving guests with conflicting impressions.
First, the positives: Robert and the staff are beacons of warmth and hospitality, brightening an otherwise mundane stay. The breakfast, while unremarkable, provides a decent start to the day, and the cleaning staff maintain professionalism in their duties.
However, the negatives loom large. The internet speeds are akin to a bygone era, rendering any attempt at streaming or conference calling an exercise in frustration. Moreover, a sticky spot on the floor and a profound musky smell emanating from the air conditioner detract from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the rooms.
Adding insult to injury, the outdated television sets, approximately a decade old, offer a paltry 720p resolution, failing to meet even the most basic expectations for modern entertainment.
In conclusion, while Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tacoma-Lakewood has its merits, including friendly staff and passable breakfast options, it falls short in crucial areas such as internet connectivity, room cleanliness, and outdated amenities. Proceed with caution, as the experience may not meet your expectations.
