    Our first time at this Dentist office today at 9:00 AM and so far no complain, the stuff and front desk are awesome and super friendly same as the Dr. Chen. Everybody here is professional and up to task. I am happy here and my kid is too. Will be back next appointment for sure. Thank you guys.

    So far an amazing experience getting started my son dental exam here. Front desk Mary and all staff, especially dental assistant Yesenia and the doctor Chen were all so nice and knowledgeable! We are excited to see them again in November!

    We were recommended to go here. The first couple of check-ups went well. We never had any issues and our dentist was great. This last time we went was because my son developed an infection from his initial fall and we were told he would need both extracted. The front desk worker was great with us, willing to help us through payment options etc. We were quoted $ for the extractions after insurance and then another $ for general anesthesia. I went back and forth with the referral coordinator and they genuinely made me feel like they wanted to help me, but she consistently told me that she has worked with a lot of military families and not to expect insurance to help with the GA portion so i felt discouraged. I called our dental insurance and was told children under 8yrs can have GA covered as long as its medically necessary and they just needed a letter from the office explaining it. I called the referral coordinator back and she said she would type it up and send it right away. I paid the deposit they required inorder to schedule the procedure $162. 2 weeks pass and i haven't heard any update, so i call my dental insurance again just to inquire on the status so we could prepare financially if the claim wouldn't go through and they told me they hadn't recieved anything. So i call the dental clinic and speak to her once again, she said she sent it a week ago (a week later than when i was told it would get sent out) because she had to put together more paperwork to send out and gave me the number she faxed everything to. I called the insurance again and they told me that she had the wrong information. I tried calling the clinic again with no luck so i asked my insurance to call directly and they were able to talk to her. They informed me that she did not have the correct information to contact them and that she also did not have the correct information on what my dental insurance would cover. It just honestly rubbed me the wrong way, because they told me they worked with many military families with the same insurance and it has never been covered, yet they had the wrong information on coverage and the wrong contact information? The referral coordinator called me afterwards to explain to me that she was mistaken and that the anesthesiologist would reimburse me. I then called again later and told her i would like to cancel the procedure with them since i was able to find more affordable care at a different clinic and she was very quick with me saying, "okay I'll go ahead and put that you'll be continuing care elsewhere from now on then." I never intended to move my services completely over to the other dental clinic, we were just wanting to have the procedure done there as we have never had any issues with his dentist there. And right after she told me that, she was going to end the conversation before i could even bring up reimbursement. So i had to quickly ask and she said, "well those get sent out at the beginning of the month so you'll be reimbursed on the 1st of February." This is on January 4th when i paid a deposit to schedule his procedure on December 5th. It is now Feb 13th and i am to be expecting reimbursement tomorrow as they, "got a new accountant" and i suppose that messed up my reimbursement on a procedure i never had done. This whole experience just made me uncomfortable. The fact that i had to wait another 2 months for reimbursement ( where is my money- it should easily be reimbursed), the fact that she was able to drop me so quickly as a client, the fact that she told me she would send out paperwork to insurance a specific day yet waited a week later-then send it to a wrong number...the fact that she didnt have the correct information on the coverage and told me repeatedly that it seemed unlikely anything would be covered even AFTER my insurance confirmed with us both that it would be reimbursed through the anesthesiologist... its all just really wild. I honestly dont recommend this clinic for military families. Especially if you dont have almost $200 to just wait on for 2 months. Please steer clear.
