Village Square Apartments

Ive called this property multiple times in the past 3 weeks in order to obtain leasing information and have been ignored each time very rude and unprofessional!

I am writing this in hopes to receive a response because I am at my wits end. I moved out of the Village Square at the end of November 2022. For the last 7 months NO ONE has gotten back to me regarding the status of my security deposit. I have spoken to property manager after property manager, each of them shrugging at me and telling me there is nothing they can do and that I will be gotten back to by a Christina McCleoud, who I have also emailed myself. I have been to the PCHA office and gotten my information taken down saying they will get back to me, and two weeks ago after reaching out once again this time to the property manager, Matthew (who, to be fair, is new) I was told that I would be "hearing back within a week". I asked if I should be looking out for a phone call or email or what and the assistant property manager Lawanda says that it will be through the mail. And then for the 50th time I am asked for my return address. I have never received a call, email, or anything through the mail back. I am very confused by the lack of professionalism and feel like I am being ran around. They are legally obligated to either return my deposit to me OR tell me WHY I am not receiving said deposit within what, 21 days by state law? IT HAS BEEN MONTHS.

Not a lot of support from maintenance or management. Also a higher-than-usual amount of crime associated with this complex. So hard to believe that this is an example of what can be rented for $1000.00 a month in the area.

the property is falling apart... the gutter literally fell off my unit and they still havent fixd it... the roofs are covered in moss and need replaced havent been replaced in over 30 years according to the maintenance man (there is visable wood rot too) the units are wired to 1 fuse in the breaker box so i cant watch tv, charge my phone and use the microwave at the same time or a fuse goes out and they are raising the rent by $300... and dont even get me started on the old lady that drove her car into her unit then moved out of the country....manager is never there and when you call them the voicemail is full and has been since last summer

I live it village square apartments and my next door neighbor has caught 25 fires on her stove sense I've lived here in the past 3 and a 1/2 years she's started 2 fires on her stove in the last month and she still does not have a fire alarm on her wall I can't sleep being her next door neighbor it starting to interfere with my life The worst thing about it is I have let the management no the fire department and the police department And she still started 2 fires on her stove this last month When is enough another when I end up getting burned alive or my animals and up getting burned alive I don't know I don't know what else to do given everybody a fair warning and doing whatever I can.
