If I could give them a negative rating I would. My 81 year old mother went to them for advise on an eviction. They sent her home with a form to sign and return with a $5000 retainer. I flipped my lid and we contacted another attorney who did what we needed for $124.00 - my mother then receive a bill for over $400 for her 1.33 hour consultation.Buyer be ware - they are also working on another case for my family and it's already taking longer than expected as well. When I read the other person's comment about their probate experience I am seeing the same thing with ours....My favorite is that Peter did a review for this law firm and he works there....now that's a joke.

I would not recommend this law firm for any legal work you may need done. My Father had them draw up his will and so when things came up with the estate it seemed like a good decision to use this law firm to handle the legal matters pertaining to the estate.  It was a very bad decision all the way around. I lost over 80,000 in equity on the sale of my father's home due to their incompetence.    They offered a couple of legal strategies to try and recover the money. We agreed on a course of action which sounded reasonable to me. Frasier did say that in order to move forward with that strategy that the lawfirm must have all their ducks in a row, and make sure everything was done appropriately.  The next thing I know I'm getting a call from Frazier offering up a different course of action, I guess they weren't confident enough in that defense to proceed ahead with it. Before the house closed, I was presented with yet another course of action. I got the feeling that they were more concerned about being sued by the buyers, then they were in protecting me as their client.  I finally came up with the idea to let the buyers rent the house for a month to give us time to figure out what was going on. The next thing that occurred was the addendum was created reflecting the extension. They also added in the addendum that I would pay for the buyers loan lock which was due to expire. I was never consulted about that fact just obligated to pay it. I guess I thought that I was the client and the money I was paying for their services was to look out for my wellbeing.  This was not the case and was proven over and over again throughout the course of the transaction. The realtor that I used Keith Richard's of Re-Max was referred to me by the Galloway firm. My billings from the lawfirm included many, many, hours of conversations between Keith and Frazier. This also seemed exorbitant and dishonest. However, I paid them. Finally when things closed 30 days later with absolutely no answers, there was 22000.00 that went into the Galloway trust account. I was told a dozen times from Frazier that whatever money I put into the house getting it ready to sell, I would get back right off the top. This ended up being an outright lie. I finally switched attorneys and when we requested the funds 6 months later, they sent us a counter proposal. Are you kidding? We requested my money per what they told me would happen, and they send a counter proposal?  I was not represented at all. I paid a lot of money for services I never received. They finally split up the money and sent it out with no documentation of how they arrived at the figures they did. I did not even get reimbursed for the money I put into the house as I was told I would. All of this happened while I was caring for my mother who was dying of cancer. Every time I went to do work on my father's home I had to pay a caregiver to care for my mother. It cost me several thousand dollars. I wanted to just give the house back to the bank  initially but was advised by Frazier and the Realtor that  there was equity there to get. I got nothing. I'm out thousands of dollars of my own money, plus the 80 000.00 Galloway screwed me out of due to their incompetence.  This firm is run by semi retired lawyers who have no business practicing law. When I would call their office to inquire about status, no one ever knew what was going on. My father would be so unhappy to know that the inheritance he thought he was leaving his family never happened because of the ineptness of his attorneys.  Do not use this firm, you will be sorry, and broke! I would not even give them 1 star as there rating.
