Scheduled my viewing they failed to mention they already had applications they were processing and allowed me to drive over 3 hours to the house only to email me and cancel the showing stating it's now off the market.... I understand first come first serve but they could have mentioned they were already processing an application...

Ive been renting from Hometown Property Management for 8 years now and have had no major issues or concerns besides minor things such as not being satisfied with the front desk receptionist. She was very rude to me. She hung up on me twice, on purpose! Also, our property Manager Lori is hard to get a hold of ever since she moved to the office in Yelm. The house we live in has needs attention. The gutters are always dirty and full from debris but nobody came out to clean it. Our fireplace blows cold air in from outside which is very bad for our electricity bill but Im afraid to complain because the last time I submitted a maintenance request for something, HPM charged us for it even though it should have been on them!!!! Im not satisfied with this management or leasing office. Updated Review: So far communication with the Property Manager has improved immensely! We got a new Property manager Rob Rothwell. He has been accommodating and has done an outstanding job in meeting our needs. Thank you Rob and HPM for making things better. Update: after 12 years renting here, they did us dirty & tried to keep our whole Security Deposit. They did not call us to do a walkthrough to close after move out. They used our Security Deposit & paid our water bill with it which was already on auto pay with my debit card. I ended up having to call the city & stop my auto pay before I end up paying twice. There was a lot of shady stuff going on but not enough space to write about it, but you all get the idea. I am very disappointed
