We moved to Lacey several months ago and tried multiple daycares before ending up at Cadence. We couldnt be happier with the care our child receives. We get frequent photos and updates throughout the day and can message his teacher directly with any concerns. Management is always kind and organized. Heather, our sons teacher, is wonderful. We can see she truly cares about her job and her students.

We absolutely love Horizon Learning Center! From the admin staff to those in the classrooms, our daughter has always been well taken care of. She has been in toddler 2 and 3 and we have nothing but great things to say. She loves going to school daily and she's very happy when we get there. I also really like the parent communication app they use for updates. Seeing what my child is doing throughout the day is easily accessible and I can even send the teachers messages. The events they put on are a lot of fun too.  We are a family that uses child care aware and they manage the program very well

My granddaughter went to Cadence Academy, about 1/2 mile from our home. Covid hit and Cadance closed down without a lot of warning. I was panicked about daycare which is when I found Horizon Learning Center which is 7 miles from home. It is EXCELLENT! So far they've stayed open through this whole dang illness which is amazing for the people depending on them.
I gladly drive the extra time/miles to get her to this facility. Staff are caring, bubbly and understanding. Online info portal is awesome. Daily reports include what your child ate and how they did with potty training. Great, clean, safe, fun facility and classrooms. Playgrounds (age appropriate for each level)are safe and fun.
I highly recommend!!!! Thank you Horizon Learning Center!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing daycare and the staff. They have treated my daughter like family and shown us nothing but kindness and warmth. The teachers are all so incredible at their jobs. We've had some struggles with our daughter walking, and all of the staff have been so supportive and helpful with the adjustments we've had to make for her. I have seen an enormous amount of mental and physical growth for her just in the short time we've been there, to which I'm so thankful! The teachers are also amazing at keeping me updated about my daughter and her day at school. I can rave on and on about the staff, but another huge thing for me is their cleanliness. My daughter would get SICK, bad, every week at our last daycare. At Horizon, she's been slightly sick twice, and for a very short duration, in the last two months. It is such a relief and a weight off of my shoulders to know that my daughter is being so loved and well taken care of. If you are debating bringing your child here, do it. You won't regret it at all! Thank you, Horizon, for everything you've done and continue to do for our family!

This is their second time raising the price in less than a 12 month span. The first raise was due to minimum wage raising and buy protective masks which was yet to be approved at that time. The second raise for just cause Lastly, they never update anything in the school. Cadence academy has cameras, they still fail to have cameras for parents to access, its 2022! They never tie the children shoes or ensure they have the shoe on the correct foot. They also dont fully wipe the children after using the bathroom. They take forever to send off the childcare awareness sheet. They allow to sleep for almost two hours. There curriculum is not effective, my children hasnt learned anything attending the school for over a year. They only know what I taught them. Bottom line up front they are all about the money.
