Cadence Academy Preschool

We have been very satisfied with the care Cadence has provided our little girl for the last eight months and weve been happy to see consistent improvements with new management over the past few months. Ms. Trinity and her colleagues have very kindly and professionally endeared themselves to our baby and our family.

This place has around 6 to 9 cases of hand foot and mouth disease. Siblings coming to school while there sister or brother is at home with it.. the one at school that's supposed to be at home with the one who is sick.. we all know that if one has it the other one does.. tje school tries to downplay it. But I'm calling the center for disease control. spreading it to more kids.. no EMAIL NOTHING..

For the amount they charge, they should have a nicer facility and better paid teachers. I've heard numerous times about air conditioners being broken or other issues in the classrooms. My son's classroom was constantly being merged with another room during the middle of the day. All the staff look stressed and overwhelmed. They also did a mid year rate increase to $395/week for toddlers. Most centers don't do as mid year increase, and other centers at this price point are much nicer. The teachers were wonderful, but everything else wasn't. I can see why they always have openings for kids and are understaffed.

My daughter attended here for a little less than two weeks. Out of those two weeks she only attended for one full 10 hour day. Every other day I was getting called after anywhere from 2-6 hours to pick her up. I would not recommend this daycare whatsoever. Completely overpriced & a very inconsistent staff. Everyday I dropped off my kid it was all new faces except for the front desk lady. Also my daughter would cry as soon as I pulled into the parking lot to drop her off after her first two days. Thats unusual behavior for her, so id say be very mindful with your children here. I could list multiple issues I saw with this facility in just a week and a half but Ill keep my review short.

Our children attended for less than two weeks before we made the decision to leave. This decision was made in the best interest of our children due to a series of concerning events. 1. During week 1, the teachers of the school held a picket line on the sidewalk adjacent to Martin avenue demanding more money. 2. During week 2, the school had a cap for students because of the lack of teacher availability. a. This led to combined classrooms and less than desirable conditions. It was apparent that whatever curriculum the school promoted would be impossible to execute under these conditions. b. Our children also complained that they had to ask for toilet paper because the teachers didnt keep it in the bathroom. 3. On multiple days we witnessed providers talking about the poor working conditions and leadership at the school. The school did make a change at the director level but the climate issues surrounding this location run much deeper than making one minor change. As a business, it seems too far gone to correct and in the two weeks we attended, the school seemed destined to fail. It requires a complete overhaul and rebranding. 4. As a parent, I would not feel comfortable sending my children there nor would I ever recommend it as an option.
