Woodland by Bonaventure

The food is terrible, residents are told the menu is controlled by corporate office. They are raising the rent but are providing fewer services. They schedule activities with no one to facilitate them. They had constant turnover in directors - 5 in the past 2.5 years. They can't keep staff. Some staff steal from the residents. I'm hoping to find another place for my mother.

Poor care, insufficient staff and bad housekeeping. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants to see family members treated in a respectable way.

My Wife and I were looking for a assistant living for my mother-in-law, and a friend was telling me about Woodland by Bonaventure. We get the chance to see the community and meet the stuff that work there, and woodland by Bonaventure is just beautifully. my Mother-in-Law just love all the things that would be available for her to do and since my friend mother is live in the community there also she looking forward to spending time with her.

Shady company. I told them my main goal for applying was to spend more time with family and they really talked about how much work they put in and how theyre a work aholic and barely get any holidays off or any PTO you cant use any before 6 months. I told them how i get 5-6week of PTO a year along with 12 paid holidays off where I'm at currently and they really had the nerve to say "good luck finding that anywhere else" I asked why the position was opened / what happened to the previous person and they really had the nerve to tell me they are secretly hiring for her position and essential plan on firing her because she isn't doing good enough for them but won't tell her. And if she asked why her position was up on indeed they lie and say "it was for a different property". The shadyness of the company to really tell me that. I hope the employee see this review and gets a heads up to find a new job before they're fired. So if you're the current sales manager. RUN
