Came here for a visit. They said they had a place for our daughter. We took a tour and really, I am happy for not having her there. We have a friend who had a son attending the place and gonna be honest, sad for him, but now he took his son out. Btw, they never called to enroll our daughter there even we let our names and some information for them to call. Happy that it never happened. We even saw some assistants smoking inside the car in the parking. I dont know, not good right?

After being enrolled for about a year, we were not happy with the overall quality of care here and found another provider in the area.
Food: weren't happy: common meal was macaroni or tuna fish, issue was it was slopped on the table and most of it came home on child's clothes (we did provide bibs which were not used) nearly daily. We adopted daycare clothes and weekend clothes: anything going to daycare was likely to be dirtied regularly. Another anecdote was a snack of bananas was given outside. Great snack, outside time awesome. Combo with a waddler, less than ideal. Watch our little one drop said banana in dirt, pick up and eat. No attempt by staff to stop this occurrence.
Naps: environment was not conducive to naps for our child. Aka rarely took any nap at all there, while at home was consistently taking 2-two hour naps. At the new care facility regular and quality naps are taken. Having more varies experiences now, I feel like this was not due to our child being difficult to put down or a light sleeper: we sleep well in varied environments.
Lord of the flies is a perfect description: our child was bitten multiple times. Snatching and defensiveness of toys increased while there. We observed when we came and went, that there was always an adult(s) in the room, there was little guidance on constructive activities or developmental learning, like sharing or turns. I was never worried about my child dying, but I was worried about what she was learning (or not learning).
We had three bad bouts of diaper rash. Based on the updates diapers are changed in accordance with state regulations, every two hours. I don't recall it ever being reported as needed, aka more frequently than 2 hours and never longer. Haven't had a diaper rash issue in over a year since leaving.
It's a lot of anecdotes, small things we admittedly weren't comfortable confronting while there but stacked up to: while we felt our child was safe and won't have lasting damage, we weren't happy with the quality of care and moved on (based on seeking better care in the area, not because of moving or graduating in to school). In hind sight, I would have paid more for care elsewhere.

I was devastated and heartbroken to see my sweet little boy come home and break down crying because kids physically hurt him on his 1st day. He had come home with a bite on his hand and a scratch on his face. Even though my son had already told me everything I wanted to hear it from them and see how they handled the situation. I gave them a call and they said they would get back to me asap.
Two days later I had to call back and I finally got ahold of Brook. She assured me everything went well and he had a great time, even though she stated she wasnt the one watching my son. When I told her that my son had a bite mark on his hand and a scratch on his face, she acted surprise. So either my son wasnt being watched and it went unnoticed OR theyre straight up lying to parents about these incidents and not acknowledging it. I know these incidents tend to happen in young kids so all I wanted was an explanation, its the least they can do. But the fact I couldnt even get that shows how neglected and unprofessional this daycare is. Its truly sad how so many kids go here and this is how they handle these situations. Either theyre taking advantage of kids who dont talk yet or the teacher to kid ratio is not what they say it is. As parents we deserve to have the peace of mind knowing our kids will be in good hands and this daycare is not it.
