I feel that I hit pay dirt when I found Dr. Opitoke, who is now my primary care physician. He removes any uncomfortableness speaking about difficult issues, partly because it is very apparent that he genuinely wants to get to know his patients. It is obvious that he sincerely wants to offer or find the best care available that will help restore a persons mental and physical well-being. During each appointment he allows me to run through my checklist of health issues and medical concerns without ever rushing the conversation. He sends me to the best specialists when he feels that this would have the greatest benefit. Besides being caring, thorough, and patient, he is very understanding of the trials we face as we age. He has a great sense of humor that will relax the most reluctant patient. My husband always accompanies me, and we always look forward to our appointments. We walk out of his office with a lift in our spirits.
