Marvin Replacement

We had windows installed in multiple rooms in our house and the quality of installation and the windows themselves are great. Jeromy who was the project manager worked with us through the entire process and helped answer all our questions making it an easy process to get this big project done.

Entire process was smooth. We went with 12 months SAC and application was simple. Pricing wise we found Marvin to be middle of the road and still offering great warranty plus no vinyl which was important to us. Install team was great and our project supervisor was super awesome. Our final walk thru went without a hitch. Great company.

I imagine most would not know this, but I have done my research on Marvin and even got full quotes from a local supplier for all my windows. I have a contractor to install if I choose to buy the windows myself, but I figured it would be great to see a bid from Marvin themself for install. What a disappointment and waste of my time and the Reps to find out the bid was $15,000 different than me buying the Essential line and having my contractor install them. That means each window cost $2,111 just for install. Maybe it could be justified if other companies came in similar, but the was the highest bid by a long shot. Incredibly frustrating how corrupt the window business is and taking advantage of people. The Rep even praised how they get the products faster and more stream lined because they are Marvin...

I was looking for windows and emailed the Marvin and hours later had an appointment! Trever Phelan helped me with the sale and it couldn't have been more professional. When the windows are installed I will update this review. But, I believe it is all in the beginning so my guess is that this will be smooth sailing through the entire process! Update: VERY UNHAPPY with the doors that are not Marvin. They just shrugged and said tough! Think twice!
