Buyer beware! Maray Borrego, with John L Scott is in our opinion, unethical, greedy and dishonest! She was willing to hold everyone for money she never earned or was entitled. She almost cost my family our new home, another family their new home and another family the sale of their home. We had legally terminated our relationship with her before we found a home with another agent. Caliber Home Loans shared our transaction with Maray and she was able to provide a commission request to escrow. Somehow Maray had slipped a buyer agency agreement ( FORM 41A) into one of the offers, She demanded $13,800.00 from my family! If it werent for our new agent who gave up half of her commission ( Which by the way, her full commission wasnt even close to 13,800.) to make sure the deal closed, the deal would have died and at least 3 families would have been hurt!
