We bought a house recently and the seller was represented by John L Scott agent Natalya Ratko and Reveka Vysotskiy and I have to say they made the home buying process absolutely miserable! The house we purchased was under foreclosure which neither of them ever disclosed and we had to find out thru the title report, the home had to close within about 6 weeks after we initially put in our full price offer or the bank would take the home. Neither Natalya or Reveka ever answered the phone a single time, our agent and lender both would try and reach out to them on what seemed like a daily basis to get things moving and everytime our agent called them it was always replied back with a busy or call you right back text but they would never actually speak over the phone to our agent or lender. The home ended up having a non conforming deck that was agreed upon to be taken down by seller before closing. They continually lied about having hired a contractor for about a week until they actually had one come out to do the job so that we could close. They lied about the deck being taken down and completed when it hasnt even been touched. Thank god for our agent Michelle Wallace with Keller Williams for putting in the extra work to drag both seller and agent across the finish line. Because of these terrible agents closing got pushed 2 different times. The contractor who ended up taking down the non conforming deck and replacing a sliding door with a window as it was originally built was referred to by Natalya and Reveka, he did the absolute worst job I think Ive ever witnessed in my life Im not even kidding the drywall work on the inside of the house was terrible and already cracked and has paint peeling. They also used the wrong type of siding to patch in the window on the exterior and its a giant eye sore not to mention the giant 3 inch hole on the bottom corner of the patch they thought filling with a whole tube of caulking would fix. Oh and the trim on the interior at the base of the drywall is also the wrong size and instead of replacing the whole piece like you would do if it was properly done they opted to nail the mismatched trim right smack dab in the middle of the wall and didnt even stain it to match the rest of the trim in the house. If you need someone who will never answer the phone and has absolutely no sense of urgency to get things done for you and are compulsive liars then these are the agents for you!

If you're considering Mackenzie Stewart as your agent/broker, don't. She will chase away your buyers with intrusive questions and documentation demands that only the lender has a right to ask for. I don't think she's ever even read a purchase contract, based on the questions she asked my buyers.

We just encountered an incredibly rude agent from John L. Scott Kent North. His name is Joe Llesis. We attended an open house in West Seattle that he was sitting on behalf of another agent. Joe asked us to sign in - we said wed prefer not to - then Joe said Im going to have to ask you to leave then I told Joe that this was bad business, and his reply was yes, I know. Then I asked him why he was REQUIRING open house attendees to sign in, he replied that it was because of COVID. I reminded him that Washington State has no such requirement, then Joe changed his story and said it was the seller who was requiring the sign in. It is common practice for real estate agents to collect email addresses and phone numbers via their sign in logs. Because we are aware of this and already working with an agent, we didnt want to be badgered by Joe so we declined to sign in. John L. Scott, your agent Joe Llesis is not doing you any favors. Joe could benefit from some additional training regarding the manner in which he should represent your office.

Dear Janssen,We are deeply sorry to hear about your frustrating experience during the home buying process. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delays and lack of transparency you encountered. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continuously strive to improve our services.Regrettably, there were several unforeseen challenges during the transaction, including delays caused by the bank's responsiveness to various requests. While we understand the importance of timely communication and transparency, we acknowledge that we fell short of meeting your expectations in this regard. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and we will use your feedback to address any shortcomings in our processes. It is always our intention to provide a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved in a real estate transaction. We also extend our gratitude to your agent, Michelle Wallace, for her dedication and efforts in ensuring the completion of the transaction despite the obstacles encountered. We will certainly take your concerns regarding the contractor's work seriously and address them promptly to ensure that such issues are not repeated in the future.

Hi Steven, we are sorry to hear about your experience this weekend. Per current NWMLS regulations the seller of the property can still require all attendees of an open house to sign in. Previous regulations mandated sign-ins for COVID-19 contact tracing purposes. However we regret to hear the course of the interaction and believe it could have been handled in a more positive manner. If you would like to speak with our leadership team further please give our office a call at (253)-852-9200.
