Montessori Plus School

My daughter was enrolled in Montessori Plus School since January 2020. The program was absolutely amazing and I can not say enough good things about her teachers Ms. June, Ms. Hanna, Ms Gloria and Ms. Cathy. After my 4 months at the school I had planned to continue her education at the school until my daughter could transfer to elementary school (She is two). All this changed when I was notified that the school was closing down in April 2020. Why I give this school a one star is due to how the owner of the school is handling the closure of the school and returning parents prepaid tuition. There is no communication between the owner (Sharlet) and the school staff. After multiple attempts to collect prepaid tuition and multiple excuses as to why there was "no money left" I don't even know if I will ever get my money back. Trying to salvage what they could the school is now technically still open but they have gotten rid of the amazing teachers who made Montessori Plus School such a wonderful place. When I called the school directly to see what was happening and whether my daughters teacher was back in the classroom I was told that "Teachers do not matter and the education and materials will all be the same. Send your child to use up your credit." My daughter still asks if she can go to school to see Ms. June. It so sad to see such an amazing program and group of individuals who truly care for the children and have a passion for early childhood education no longer be available to the Kent community.

This is a small school, not crowded. It has a great curriculum, great atmosphere, clean environment, and has a nice and safe playground, the teachers are always watching the kids play. The teachers are very nice and caring to their students, they keep in touch with the parents most of the time. My child has been really happy in here and she has learned a lot, thanks to all the teachers and to Miss Beth. The best preschool in Kent.
