Wards Power Equipment fixed my mower. The mower is 16 years old and the transmission was failing. Wards suggested that I have the trans removed for less than a $100 verses a new trans that would have been $375. A good choice and honest service.

I went home, emailed them the description of the part part number, within 24 hours they got back to me with pricing and availability. Ever since Covid small stores like this really have been hurt. I hope they do OK.

Wards is a busy little shop! Took 3 weeks to get my equipment back but its ran perfect since. I take all my saws here. Been using these guys for years, hard to find good people like these anymore. A few mechanics retired this year, said they are hiring more to help out. Be patient, they are dealing with what all small shops are.

Took my mower in to get serviced because it had been in a flood and not working. I told them that I found water in the fuel system and wanted it serviced. I got it back and it worked for 3 times then died. I looked at the oil and it was completely milky. I took it back in and they told me 6 weeks and I would have to pay for it to get repaired because I only told them about the fuel system needing to be replaced, not the oil. Which tells me they didnt check anything elses? How does a repair company never check the oil to make sure there is enough in there to even function properly?
