Madsen Med Spa

3/16/24: I am revising my review. I USED to recommend Madsen Med Spa to my friends and tell them about my great experience. But I am never coming back here again. The estatician Madeline was very nice and did not give me a bad experience. But everything else is/was a bad experience. Since they moved offices (which was the biggest mistake they made), you can find yourself walking into a lobby of sick patients of the doctor they share their space with. You are then squeezed into a back room that feels unprofessional and crampt and makes it hard to relax. That was already how I felt for months, but I wanted to continue my treatment despite it. But today changed that. The receptionist was helecoptor micromanaging the new estatician and staring at me like a specimen in a cage. She was also OVER THE TOP more friendly than she had ever been and it was very uncomfortable. Then, she the receptionist who had no business being in my treatment said "How about a nice spray of water on your face" and sprayed me with rubbing alcohol! And tried to play it off and whisper about what to do next as if I couldnt see and hear her! I want to be clear that Madeline did a good job and did not contribute to my bad experience. Madeline stayed calm and took care to clean my face and start over. But the business as a whole had been going down hill over the last 6 months, and today was the final straw. I could/should be finishing my treatments, but Im choosing to never return there again. 1.5 years ago: The staff has been very friendly and helped make the process better each time. I've gone in for laser hair and seen great results! They made some wonderful staffing changes and I enjoy going there even more now!

I had an amazing experience with laser tech Madeline. I was worried about my skin being African American it can difficult to treat.But she reassured that I would receive a great treatment.. and I sure did it took 6 times and all my hair is gone. I would totally recommend her for anyone she knows what she is doing best laser service experience I ever had and very professional...

I visited Dr. Aaron Madsen's med spa and it was great to see the level of care and expertise provided. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the spa itself is welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Aaron Madsen's med spa to anyone looking for top notch aesthetic treatments from a skilled and caring team.

After my laser hair removal treatment on 3/2, I was left with first degrees burns in multiple locations. An hour after my treatment, the residual heat from the service left me in so much pain I cried, which I noticed the spa of. I do not advise anyone work with Madeline especially people with dark skin tones. I received two calls telling me that Madeline had experience with ethic skin. Madeline herself said that my experience is common for people with ethic skin. Im not sure what ethic skin means, but it surely is not the correct technical term in esthetics. The spa was more interested in invaliding my experience than providing customer service after a horrible service. This business does not have enough safety protocols in place to prevent or to mitigate harm once a negative side effect has occurred. In good conscience I cannot recommend this business to anyone of any skin tone.
