Safeway Fuel Station

This stations pumps don't work with a card 90 percent of the time! The attendants do not care.

Went to Safeway for some chicken but the guy behind the deli counter was not wearing a hair net and his dred locks were hanging in front of his eyes so I just left.

TL;DR: You can't use loyalty rewards or contactless payments here. Seemingly brand new pumps. Won't take contactless tap payment on its reader. Won't allow you to use your Safeway points at the pump because you have to start by pressing Yes to enter a phone number. The pump I chose has the Yes button smashed in and the pump wouldn't let me press the button or use my Safeway rewards. There were cars blocking the other pumps because the pumps are spaced so closely, and the surrounding curb is so close to the pumps, that one large car can easily block 2 pumps (as well as easily blocking the clearance around each pump to drive around). This place is difficult to use, lost my business, and seems like an easy way to get in a fender-bender at the pump, which sounds like fun. I avoid this place now because it seems nice, convenient and modern but is full of misleading things and difficulty. Get the basics right, Safeway.

It's a regular gas station. Only problem is the entire station shuts down at times, every single pump down, which can be freaking frustrating!!
