We really enjoyed our first Dinner in the Dark experience! What a creative way to demonstrate just one of the challenges of being sight-impaired. I wish the blind there could have seen the rest of us attempting to do what they go through every day. When explaining this event to our grandchildren, they wanted to give it a try - and we will do this with them when we can eat outside and not over our carpet. Everything - the meal, auction items, speaker - all made for a wonderful and memorable evening to support a very worthwhile cause!

I recently attended the Dinner in the Dark fundraiser. I was so happy that they brought it back. There were a few hiccups, but overall the food was good, the speakers were knowledgeable and entertaining and the atmosphere was delightful. Looking forward to next year!!

Attended Dinner in the Dark put on by the Edith Bishel Center. This is the primary fund raiser for this small organization that provides needed services for those with visul impairments. The story of the Center was presented in many ways, the food was wonderful, and much needed monies were raised. This was my first time attending but not my last

Attended Dinner in the dark event for the 3rd time and usually have a good experience. This year the event was at the Clover Island and was not impressed. The last few events were usually held at the Red Lion Hotel, but unfortunately this time it was at Clover Island. This year's event was cramped, overcrowded, and unorganized. Received the impression that it was more for taking money than it was for the actual cause. Unfortunately this will be my last time to go to this event.

So I had an interview here today, couldn't make it because, of personal reasons. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, I'm glad I didn't show up....
