Issaquah Kitchen

The staff is friendly and the food is exceptionally good. This is NOT the old Herfy's fast food that used to be in Seattle and other locations. This food is cooked to order when you get there. Prices are great. Burgers are excellent as are many other things we have tried. Lots of seating in the restaurant part. There is a bar area separated from the main restaurant to the left with daily specials, bar food as well as beer,wine and alcohol. They are changing the name soon to Issaquah Kitchen which is a great idea. Many people tend to think this is the old fast food place so a new name should bring in lots more business and dispel the connotation of the old name. There is outdoor seating in the summer.

I have been here on a couple of occasions. I feel that the place fist my quality to value ratio pretty well. The first time I thought the burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. The second time I came in the burger was still great, but the quality of the onion rings I got that time was very poor. There were multiple rings of onion per ring and the batter was too thick. There was a change of ownership and they serve teriyaki as well. It's definitely a place that I would go to again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for.

The owner is quite friendly here. It's a great location with some unique items on the menu.
