We had an outstanding experience here. All the nurses and doctors were kind, positive, and helpful. Every time there was a shift change, my wife and I were met with another fantastic set of hands. Extremely grateful for all their help in welcoming our little one!

Unnecessary medical interventions were made on our infant after birth that caused major injury and trauma to him, and trauma to me. Then when I demanded to be released to go with my baby that had to be transported to a high level NICU because of their error, I was threatened that they wouldnt bill my insurance for my surgery & delivery and they would withhold my pain meds (I had a c section) if I left with him. They were horrible.

The nurse was really rude and called security because our kids were not sitting on chairs in the lobby. Sorry that kids who come to visit with their new sibling aren't sitting quietly on chairs in the lobby. This is a sign of poor administration to me hence the one star. Try some compassion next time. For folks looking for a great maternity hospital, try Evergreen in Kirkland instead. MUCH nicer!

Owned by Providence, a conservative catholic organization. If you have a miscarriage and need care who knows how theyll treat you. Will they say just deal with it - (which could result in your death if you need a d & c)? Providence denies abortions. Most catholic organizations consider d & c abortion - though it is often a necessary procedure for basic safety after miscarriage. Swedish/Providence puts their conservative interpretation of religious doctrine before science and maternal well-being so it is anyones guess if youll be left in pain or a dangerous situation, or treated well. Will you be given pain killers or does their reading of genesis also mean women deserve pain? Theyre just trying to control people - definitely not representing the community as there are barely even any Catholics in the Seattle area.
