Updating review to 5 stars. Although my initial experience was less than perfect I have been very impressed since then! Four Cedars has been great in helping me with advice and beekeeping supplies. Thank you for your response, and for your continued helpfulness!Old review: Great place for supplies, but got questionable advice on keeping bees. She recently suggested we feed pollen patties to our hive in the winter (because she was out of candy boards), which, as first time beekeeepers, we didn't know was wrong. Our hive ended up thinking it was spring too early and dying. We learned from another supplier the right advice for feeding bees in the winter. I'm disappointed that this local gem left me with this negative experience. Hopefully they do better in the future.

We love Four Cedars! The couple that owns this shop is great; friendly, personable, and kind! We love the creamed honey and picked some up for everyone we knew for Christmas. We feel lucky to have them so close to pick up honey any time!
