I want to give a shout out to the Tax Shack in Purdy. Especially to Tara. Not only does she help with my taxes and accounting, she has been available to help walk me through many things I need to attend to, but dont understand. I am still learning. Sometimes I am just totally blown away by her patience and willingness to help. I cant recommend them highly enough.

These ladies are amazing! Soooo patient, and helpful (and kind, to boot).The new portal makes it extremely efficient and easy!Very, very happy with their services-have been for years.

I moved out of state during 2021, and they said they would still do my taxes. They didn't take calls or reply to emails. I finally mailed them anyway. 2 weeks later it came back "return to sender". This time someone answered and said I should have mailed to po box. No apologies and rude. I mailed them again as I'm new in town and it's getting down to the wire. The person I spoke with said they wouldn't do out taxes because I was rude. I explained I was just super stressed. I cried and begged. I don't believe I had been rude to begin with. I never raised my voice or used inappropriate language, etc. They left me emotionally wrecked. Fortunately, I have a friend in my new town who is an accountant and got me set up. I just want to warn people to watch out! Women from the Tax Shack are SPITEFUL. NOT professional.

I have used The Tax Shack since 2019 to file our business and personal taxes. And in today's world, exuding excellent customer service is everything. Both Tara and Brandy have treated me like I'm their only customer when I see them in person, they remember specific things about my business, and I can always count on them to know and relate the current tax regulations. They both are professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and congenial.

After I was widowed, our accountant we had used only 3 times saw an opportunity and started charging enormous fees. One of my friends recommended The Tax Shack. Don't judge a book by it's cover (their place is tiny) as Tara and Brandy are two of the smartest accountants I have ever worked with. Always informing customers of IRS changes in a timely manner.This year they adapted a new on-line system (in addition to already e-filing) that was easy to use and my lengthy return was filed quicker than ever. I can now send all tax documents to their portal, which has checklists to help show me what documents I need to send. What a time saver! Their fees have always been low and reasonable, (what a relief!) While I love the new on-line portal, I know that if I need more help with tax decisions, they are always available in person, or they answer emails within a short amount of time. Probably obvious, I am a customer for life and highly recommend them.
