This is a good place to start crossing the bridge from Gig Harbor side on foot. There are no toilets near the bridge, not on toll booth side no at the memorial park on the other side. I see there is a sign of heavy traffic to the bushes about 200 ft before the bridge starts in the Gig Harbor side. There are parking spaces for 5 or 6 cars near the trail head but it is not crowded because most people star walking from the memorial park and there is ample space for parking. The view of the narrow is breathtaking. Mountain Rainier and Olympic side mountains add to the scenery. It is very nice and enjoyable walk.

Best views in the South Sound. If youre walking, watch out for bikes passing. Say hi to people to make sure they are in a good mental health state.
