        25 minute wait to be served after being seated and 45 minute wait for cold food all at a premium price. In response to your reply, Does your staffing issue explain that the patrons who arrived after us were served before we were. I also hope that the fact that our table was the only table that had POC at it didn't play a role, but maybe that is a staffing issue too.

        We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Gertie’s. We ate upstairs. I had an especially delicious mushroom appetizer dish. I also had the beef Wellington. It was perfectly cooked. I will order it again. Gertie’s has a French bistro flair , friendly service and is a nice atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

        We arrived early and we were treated to a great table upstairs, against the railing with a view below. The service and food was excellent. A standout was the mushroom side and the bread for dipping. The menu is limited but all dishes are presented with care. The seafood medley was generous but for some reason I wasn’t expecting it to be room temp, even cool. I would definitely go back to sample other dishes.
