Called about getting a quote on some basic matainence done on my smart car. When he arrived to look at the car my neighbor told me he had cut him off. After he looked at the car, he said he would be in touch. He never called back. I left a few messages and a few texts... he just completely ignored me. I'm not sure what it is, but many businesses on island suffer from a total lack of professionalism and common courtesy. Unfortunately, Allen Auto Repair is among them.

Excellent Service! I called Allen Auto Repair, and Robert happened to be in Roche Harbor, 6 minutes from our location. He drove straight to us and diagnosed the problem, at night in the dark. He then ordered parts, but wrong parts came, then he drove off island to get the right parts. Came back to our location, did the repairs, and my truck runs fine. Yes this all took about 4 days. We're stuck on an island with no parts local. We were on vacation, from Canada, and stuck with a 'Check Engine' light on, and the truck running in 'Limp' mode with no power. My other option was towing the truck to Burlington. Robert did everything he could to help us out, and then followed up several days later to make sure that we had gotten home and the truck was still running fine, which it is.
