D&K BBQ

We called ahead for pick-up and were able to pick up our food very quickly! For four adults and one child we ordered a whole rack of ribs, one pound of brisket (they were out of sliced and only had pulled), one pulled pork sandwich and a pint of each of the sides. The ribs were fantastic, extremely tender. Brisket was also very good, although we wish they'd still had sliced! Creamed corn was fantastic, beans were a sleeper hit, coleslaw tasted fresh, potato salad was delicious. We had a very large dinner and polished off the leftovers for breakfast the next morning.

Saw the reviews and went there on a Sunday. Per Google hours, they are open, but we drove there and it was not even open at 1pm. Quite disappointed to come this far and it's closed. There is no website for this to verify the hours. Please update the hours so people don't drive so far to find it closed.

We arrived end of day and though we had limited options, we were not disappointed! Loved the potato salad with a hint of horseradish; the beans were delicious; sauce was flavorful and unique. We got their last serving of brisket, it was likely not their best showing, but still very respectable. Amazingly most of the options are gluten free. Impressive for a small town like Forks. We attempted to stop for a second time on our way back from the coast but they were closed unfortunately. Dietary restrictions: Its all gluten free except the bread I was told by the helpful man at the counter. Music to my ears! I didnt ask about the Mac n Cheese though.
