image We went to the Gunderson walk-in on Wednesday, 2/21 for my daughters right wrist. They gave us a left hand splint, which explains why shes been in so much pain. Are you kidding me?! I called about it, and they said Id just need to wait at the walk-in again to get the correct brace. I called and asked for a customer service or customer care line, and they just ransferred me to their billing department. What is happening at this circus?! The last time we waited at the walk-in at Soper Hill we waited for 5 hours. I am so frustrated.

image Unbelievable behavior from Everett Clinic staff. I took my wife in for a procedure and didn't know I couldn't wait there for her. The way in which they spoke to me and then thereafter when I came to pick her up was absolutely childish and unnecessary. I know healthcare workers have been under a lot of stress of late, but why ask for trouble? When I said it would've been nice to know with all of the info they sent us about the procedure that I couldn't wait there. This person went straight to her most immature defensive posture and then it got worse. The clinical staff was great to my wife but front desk can use some training on how to deescalate rather than escalate any situation. I, of course, didn't respond in kind because my focus was on my wife, but they certainly got under my skin and disappointed me. As evidence of a disturbing corporate culture at Everett Clinic, my wife had to have her covid test redone two days prior to her procedure because the Everett Clinic at Smokey Point submitted two peoples tests using my wife's identity. She had to go back and get retested because of their mistake. At least she could go get retested. The other person was unknown and most likely couldn't do whatever it is they needed the negative test for. These things are indicative of something being wrong with E.C. in general.
