I do not recommend Everett Family Medicine if you have any medical problems or health concerns. I saw them over a month ago with serious medical concerns. They did not take me seriously and told me to just take ibuprofen. I asked for further testing and a referral to a specialist. I had a test done and the day after EFM left me a voicemail saying they had my test results. Ive called them twice asking them to call me back and theyve never returned my calls. I saw the specialist a month later and my results were abnormal and I need surgery. I cant believe they wouldnt call and give someone their results. Especially if there is a problem! I urge people to go elsewhere if you have serious concerns or health issues.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Nurse Practitioner's Lack of Proactive Care As a new patient seeking medical assistance for unexplained hand swelling, I recently had an encounter with a nurse practitioner that left me disappointed and frustrated. While I understand that some medical conditions can be perplexing, the manner in which my concerns were addressedor rather, dismissedwas far from satisfactory. During my initial appointment, the nurse practitioner was unable to offer assistance for my hand swelling, which I accepted as these cases can indeed be puzzling. However, my disappointment escalated when I reached out to the office the following day seeking a prescription for prednisone to alleviate swelling in my sublingual saliva gland, a recurring issue that I have dealt with over the past decade. Previously, I had been advised by an ENT specialist Dr. ASHBACH who also worked with WWMG, who has since retired, that prednisone could effectively manage this condition. However, instead of promptly addressing my request, the nurse practitioner hesitated, citing concerns about the potential immunosuppressive effects of prednisone. While I appreciate her cautious approach to medication management, her response lacked proactive consideration for my discomfort and past medical history. Upon expressing my discomfort and the urgency of the situation, I suggested immediate consultation through either an in-person visit or telehealth appointment. However, my efforts were met with further disappointment as I was informed that no appointments were available. The culmination of this interaction left me feeling unsupported and neglected as a patient. Not only was I denied the medication that I know to be effective based on previous medical advice, but I was also left without alternative options or a plan for addressing my discomfort. In retrospect, the nurse practitioner's approach seemed rigid and lacking in empathy for my immediate needs. While I understand the importance of cautious prescribing practices, there should have been a more proactive effort to accommodate my discomfort and explore alternative solutions. In conclusion, my experience with the nurse practitioner fell short of my expectations for comprehensive and compassionate care. Moving forward, I hope for improved communication and a more patient-centered approach to medical management from healthcare providers.

Couldn't give 5 atars unfortunately. Liked my doctor and her med student and the care I received, but I came in as a new patient today, when the road conditions were pretty icy. I was still 20 minutes early to my appointment and was told pretty rudely by the family medicine receptionist that I may not be able to be seen because of all the paperwork I needed to fill out. I debated even staying for my appointment. Apparently when I scheduled the appointment 2+ months ago ahe told me to come in 30 minutes early, but then the reminder email I received a week before my appointment said 15 minutes prior.

Unfortunately, couldn't even make it to see the Doctor due to the poor professionalism of the family medicine receptionist. I came in about 5 minutes early to my appointment and was told I would need to reschedule because I would need to be there 30 minutes prior to fill out paperwork. There was no one at waiting area. 1. Does it take 30 minutes to fill out paperwork? 2. If it does why not send it through email prior to the appointment instead of making people take an extra 30 minutes away from work?
