Think twice when hiring Rochelle as a therapist!! She doesnt follow any of her nicely drawn out steps she list on her website when it comes to reunifying a child an absent parent. My child is on the autism spectrum and had a father that wanted to reunify with him after 10 years of wanting nothing to do with him. I asked her multiple times to contact my childs psychologist prior to having his initial phone call w/his father so they can discuss how yo prepare my child for reunification and how to tread lightly with his needs and wants. In two email responses back to me she said she would and then in another email after asking why she hadnt, she said she will call when it was the right time. She NEVER called the psychologist. She was to f/u with my child and myself prior to scheduling the initial call and she never stuck with what she said and sometimes didnt respond to emails all. During the first and only call she allowed the father to make multiple false promises.
Father gave up his rights two weeks after this call. If Rochelle would have done her due diligence there never would have been any contact especially not one where she is allowing the other parent to make a bunch of empty promises.
It makes sense now about her lack of follow through; after all was said and done, I discovered that in Skagit County in 2009 she was charged with falsely testifying under oath in a sex offenders case back in 2009. She cannot be trusted with putting your kids needs first.
