I'm transgender and Dr. Knapp was incredibly kind and patient, as was his staff. I was extremely nervous as transgender patients seldom seek OBGYN care as they should and I came to Dr. Knapp with some concerns about my health with alot of hesitation and fear of judgement. He was thorough and had excellent bedside manner. I never felt rushed or brushed off as I have been with other doctors. There was zero discrimination and he was nothing but open and empathetic to all of my concerns. Highly recommend not just for LGBTQ patients, but anyone looking for quality care.

I went to the Midwifery at Providence for my first pregnancy and it wasnt bad at all, but I wanted to see just 1 doctor for my 2nd child. The baby is still brewing though. I decided to see Dr. Knapp and he is great. I also did a little research on him prior to scheduling and although young, he was my choice. Its important that I feel comfortable, validated and just happy with my doctors and I am all of these with him. He is very thorough, informative, non-judging and just seems to be a really good human. So far I am very pleased with all my interactions with him.
