Referred to endocrinology, arrived, informed with my insurance it would only be $30 copay for a specialty provider. No mention of "hospital fees" or any of that nonsense. Spoke with insurance after receiving a surprise bill, they informed me they charge "out of network/hospital based fee" for a regular endocrinology visit. Billing specialist indicated all "specialty" clinics have a out of pocket hospital based fee. This makes zero sense and they do not inform you of this prior. Avoid at all costs, should be illegal. Hidden fees is not how you retain patients.

Took my 84 year old mother in for an appointment today, due to her mobility issues we arrived 7 minutes late. The staff cancelled her appointment because she was 5 minutes late, despite no other patients waiting to be seen. It took months to get the appointment and if this is how treat seniors with health issues, I cannot recommend this doctor. Very unprofessional.
