      image Where do I start, we got audited in 2020, for our taxes that where done in 2017. From 2020 till now weve gone to this office since weve had our taxes always done by a H&R office at the duty station we reside at. Having the peace of mind is a joke as well as having anyone at this office help you in regards to there staffs mistake on filling for us. The district manager sure likes to dodge calls and e-mails when he asks you to send the letters you received from the IRS and when you have an appointment with him, he doesnt call you for the appointment to go over his findings. Found out he didnt submit a claim, but we did get a bill from this office from our last taxes we had this office do in 2021, for them filling our taxes even though the IRS took my families taxes for the audit since they didnt take it in 2020 when we first notified of the 2017 audit. We tried to give this office plenty of chances to figure out what happened to our 2017 taxes and why we were being audit but it got to the point Ive called customer service, and then their corporate office as well as the BBB. It be a different story if I filled my taxes myself to get audited but I had a supposed tax professional who isnt a CPA, file on our behalf. Over 20 something years Ive used H&R Block and this was the first year I have filled elsewhere due to this incident. Least Im squared away with the IRS, but having the peace of mind was joke on H&R Blocks fulfilling there obligation to there customers if something like this would happen to them.
