Super fun and cool! Great place for a picnic and to soak up history. Check out the other reviews for specific directions on how to get there. Remember SAFETY: - Check the tides and weather first - Go with a buddy - Expect it to take 30mins to 1hr to get to the ship (depending) - Ship is accessible with tides at 0ft and lower only - There is a lot of sharp rust and protruding rebar. Much of the ship is covered in barnacles. If you want to climb on it or in it, I'd suggest appropriate gloves and clothing, and maybe some rope

Greetings all, I have created a very simple to follow guide on where to start and how to get to the cement ship. You must check tides for lowest tide to access the ship wreck. It is not easily accessible and does have two very steep sections that have ropes to assist you. I numbered each picture and highlighted relevant information to assist in finding the trail. If you decide to just follow the upper trail it is an easy hike with great views of the surrounding area, island, ship wreck, wildlife and trains. The upper trail will only let you view the ship wreck from afar. Good luck and enjoy the scenery!
