We stayed here to be near the airport for our flight the next morning. Its a beautiful home and the room was very comfortable. First class all the way! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and Cathy even packed us her homemade banana nut bread to go because we were too full to eat it with breakfast. Then we got a ride to our departure gate at SeaTac. What a wonderful experience! It was so easy and stress-free. This place is a gem indeed!

The name of this elegant Inn is perfect. It is truly a 'Hidden Gem'. It my opinion, is is significantly under priced, since the accommodations are plenty and sizable. Whether you need a place to rest before or after a trip out of or into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, or a place to stay while touring the Seattle area, the accommodations are warm, extremely comfortable, and you won't want to leave. Be ready for a nice heart-felt greeting from you innkeeper Cathy, she is the real 'hidden gem' of this most wonderful haven in Des Moines. You will be very happy you came here.
