Chris' birthing classes are so informative and helped ease a lot of my anxiety about child birth. Chris did not pressure us to make any decisions, try to persuade us to use any certain methods, or try to convince us of anything. Just the facts and great advice!

As new parents to be, we wanted to be as prepared informed, as possible, on all the things to know while pregnant, during delivery and raising a baby. We came across Chriss educational classes and they were so helpful. There was so much we didnt know and had questions and she was able to guide us through that. We loved her so much we decided to hire her as a Doula. She was amazing and I would highly recommend her. She was available to text or call whenever we had questions and encouraging, reassuring, and calm throughout labor and delivery which made it so much easier. She was a great coach for both mom and dad. This changed our perspective on Doulas completely and we believe every birth should use a doula! Thanks

My boyfriend and I are expecting parents for the first time. I found Chris services she offered online and was happy to find out she was offering in person classes at this time. It was very important to me that we both experienced an in person class together. She was very professional and gave us newbies the knowledge we needed to work together on feeling comfortable about bringing our new baby into the world. It was extremely insightful for my boyfriend as he had no knowledge prior to her class. He left feeling more confident as a partner and future father. I would highly recommend any person or couple to attend her class. She also offers doula services that I would take advantage of as she is very calming and comfortable to be around.

TLDR: Chris is extremely passionate, professional, and knowledgeable. Her classes were empowering for this first time mom and dad - helping take it from terrifying to manageable. As a doula she will be your ally, cheerleader, support pillar, medical translator and even personal masseuse. She was by my side through labor, delivery, and those first few moments with our newborn making sure we got the care we needed. We are so thankful for Chris support and her role in our pregnancy and delivery. She will definitely be with us for any future births as well! Thanks Chris! I have so many wonderful things to say about Chris, but the best way for you to know how amazing she is to meet her! Even before she became a Doula and Certified childbirth educator, I knew Chris would be a big part of helping during my pregnancy and birth experience. She has a passion for pregnancy, birth, and babies that isnt just career driven but a true calling. This passion carries into her work as a child birth educator and doula along with her experience, knowledge, huge heart, and outgoing personality. As first time parents who didnt have any experience with pregnancy or babies, we took her 6 week class to prep ourselves for the big day as well as hired her as our doula. I went into the class absolutely terrified of giving birth while my husband is notably faint-hearted when it comes to anything medical and wasnt sure how to support me without fainting in the delivery room. Poor Chris had her work cut out for her! We were both extremely impressed with her level of professionalism as well as her depth and breadth of knowledge. Her class covers the various scenarios you may encounter as well as breaking down the terminology and practices used. This was extremely helpful once we were at the hospital and in the full swing of labor to have a prior understanding of what all was going on (and of course having Chris in the room to help). The class helped us both feel like labor and delivery would be more manageable as well as helped my husband and I have better conversations around each of our roles and expectations. As a doula, her services are a must. She will be your ally, cheerleader, support pillar, medical translator and even personal masseuse. Yes, a spouse/partner can do some of these things but not the way a professional can. Does your husband know how hard to rub/push on your back to get your through your 800th contraction? Do they know how to help keep you calm even when you start having a breakdown at 2am? Because Chris does. We are so thankful for Chris support and her role in our pregnancy and delivery. She helped us through what would have been overwhelming and helped make it manageable and a great experience for us. She will definitely be with us for any future births as well! Thanks Chris! [Husband Comment: Id liken Chris services to that of an Mt Everest Sherpa or an Amazon Jungle guide: When you are in the think of it, youll be happy you have her and end up relying on her more than you think! ]

I got pregnant and the last thing on my mind was the birth. Other than knowing I wanted kids I went into the whole thing blind. At the time I was working with Chris in childcare, and she had talked previously of a dream to be a Doula. I had no idea what that meant but I could tell she was passionate. Then she asked me if she could be my Doula, she explained what it was, the benefits, the statistics, everything. She helped me decided I wanted to try for a natural birth, which I knew would be easier with her help. She helped me with questions and concerns, advised me, told me what it all was going to be like and when the day came she was there. She helped me cope with the pains of birth, helped get my questions answered, kept me in the know and strong. When the time came and I decided I needed pain assistance (epidural), we had a plan and she was there to support it. When the time came to push she was by my side, talking me through it, along side my family. I'd recommend a doula to anybody who wants a natural birth, medicated birth, water birth, home birth, the works. And I especially would recommend Chris; Knowing how she is with babies, her experiance in births, her dedication and her kind heart, not only from our friendship but from our professional relationships, and my birth.
