Working with Christy was amazing! She is a magician with makeup. I made the mistake of getting slightly sunburned on my cheeks prior to my engagement photos, but she was able to work her magic to rehydrate my skin and cover my redness without it looking cakey. She gave me great advice and recommendations on how to keep my hair and makeup fresh until my photoshoot hours later. She was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her work.

We had a small get-together wedding ceremony and reception. I knew I had to hire Christy because she is familiar with Asian skin tones and features. It was my first time working with her but I've been following her work and completely trust that she would do an amazing job. During the whole experience from the first conversation to the day of the wedding, Christy is very sweet, professional, and an amazing listener. I was very happy with my hair and makeup. Even though it has been almost six months, I still cannot get over how beautiful I felt on my wedding day, thanks to Christy and her team. From the very beginning, Christy was prompt in her responses and helped me navigate the complexities of building a wedding timeline. She was so helpful and patient in answering my questions about the process. Her skincare prep tips were thoughtfully built from her years of experience as a makeup artist, backed by extensive research from consulting her esthetician colleagues. This is what I loved about working with Christy because she prioritized the health of the skin first. As a result, I felt so confident and comfortable under the natural makeup she applied to enhance my features. I admire Christys craft and ability to make it look effortless to create a natural makeup look, but thats only because shes incredibly experienced and talented at what she does. Somehow, Ive come to appreciate her talent more and more, long after the wedding day. Christy was AMAZING. I was very worried on finding a good makeup artist for my wedding because Asian makeup style is very different, with different highlighting required/shading/skin types. She offered a test trial so I could see what I liked and didn't like, also making sure to leave it on for 3+ hours so she can observe how it progressed over time to make sure she used the *right* products on me. Christy provided lots of tips and tricks to make sure I was getting my own skin ready, that my florist was providing the flowers in the right way for my hair, and many others. Christy also did an amazing job with hair and makeup for the entire bridal party and the moms. She took everyone's preferences and feedback to make sure people were happy with their results. Christy is the absolute best! As someone who rarely does makeup, I was a little nervous about bridal makeup in general. I wanted to feel beautiful and authentically myself for my wedding day, and Christy completely understood my vision! We went for a light and natural look, which I loved so much to the point I wanted to take classes from her LOL. In addition to her extreme talent, she's also incredibly professional and kind. It was such a joy to work with her and her team, and I felt so taken care of every step of the way. I also appreciated how Christy had so much advice for me leading up to the big day itself, in particular how to prep my skin in the best way, even providing certain products to use for my skincare routine.
