I went for my 5000 mile service. I had a set of fairly new tires from Toyota and they told me the front tires' tread was very worn (3) and recommended new tires. I asked about the warranty on the tires. They said the tires were still under warranty and I could come back another day and get new front tires, but would have to pay for the miles already used on them old ones. I went back. They had no tires for me but said they'd order the new ones. I went back again with an appointment on the day they were supposed to have the new tires, and waited 2 hours while they were supposedly in installing the new tires. They finally told me the warranty would not cover the new tires at all. I wasted three trips dealing with this, and Toyota did not honor the warranty. Do not buy tires from this shop!

I called and scheduled an appointment for an oil change. I specifically asked for the cost before confirming my appointment and was told $74.99. When it came time to pay for the bill they charged me almost $100. I told them that I confirmed the cost before booking the appointment and he just said he doesn't know why I was quoted that price and still charged me the $100. I won't be back. I would have just gone to Jiffy Lube and spent the same price and saved myself an hour of my life. On another note, they always adjust your car seat and don't try to put it back. UPDATE: 1 star to 3 After posting this review I was contacted by the GM of I-5 Toyota. He sent me a check in the form of the difference from what I was quoted and what I had paid. He also mentioned that they use a 3rd party to answer their phones when they are busy and they did not update their pricing to them so they had quoted me an old price. I appreciate the effort and it doesn't get lost on me. Can't give 5 stars because of the hassle and rude service but upgraded from 1 to 3 stars.

PROBLEM #1: I stopped by on a weekend to see if they could check my windshield wiper problem-either the motor or the switch needed replacing. I was quoted 145.00 for the service. I made an appointment. When I showed up 4 days later I was told it would be 165.00 plus tax. PROBLEM #2: They did the diagnostic work on a Thursday and I paid 165.20. I was told they could not give me a quote as they needed to find the replacement motor for the windshield wipers. I was told it should be just a day or two. ONE WEEK LATER and still no quote. The service manager emailed me with the claim it was emailed on Tuesday after I contacted them, but no email has arrived. And yes, I checked the junk folder as well. I emailed him back to let him know that I do not ahve a quite and no response. I have asked for my $165.20 back since they have not provided and actual quote. I have had little problems here before. Getting an oil change and having to go by my own coolant as they didn't have any in stock. How can a lube/oil shop run out of coolant? Asking for them to NOT rotate my tires but they still did. This affected my warranty on the tires. Paying a different amount for the lube/oil change than what was quoted. I have serious doubts about I-5 Toyota. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for oil changes and hopefully will get the money back that they took for a phantom quote. I do know for sure that I will NEVER purchase a vehicle here in the future.

Took car in for oil change, oil service, and a low tire. Service dept called me and said low tire was due to a nail and was not fixable because the nail hole was too close to the rim. I was told I needed 2 new tires since the car was an AWD. I asked if they did a measurement of tread to be certain both tires needed to be replaced since the tires only had 9000 miles. They called back and said they made a mistake and I only needed 1 new tire to fix the one that was non-repairable. Asked if they took the tire off the rim to confirm nail hole was too close to the rim to repair and they said no. I told them to forget about the tire and just do the oil service. I then took my car to Les Schwab, they took the tire off and repaired it free of charge. If I had not questioned I5, I would have walked away buying 2 new tires. Instead, the tire got fixed for free somewhere else.
