Lets make 8 year olds cry because you want to single them out. Weird behavior: Feeling quite a bit disappointed in the pool staff today. I recently bought a season pass for the pool cause my kiddos are little fishies. We come to the pool almost everyday and never have any issues. Today was a bit different. The lifeguards were giving out popsicles and my kiddos wanted one so I told my oldest he could go check how much they were so they could buy one. Turns out they were free, but they were out. Bummer! Except when the kiddo behind my son went up for one and they gave him one. The kids sitting across from us were curious about the popsicles and so he went to ask and he brought back two. This time my daughter went over there and they told her they were out. My youngest son got out of the pool and asked if he could get a popsicle because his friend told him they were free I told him they were out but he wanted to check anyway, and they were out. The kids behind him were told to go around to the side door where they handed them each a popsicle. My son said it didnt make sense to him why they told him they were out but then gave it to the people behind him. Crushed his little spirit. When my husband asked about it cause it just didnt seem fair, they said I said we were out and she said it too. Someone poked their head around the corner and said we can get them one though. Not understanding the picking and choosing of who gets a popsicle but, well just buy a box. Certainly hoping I didnt put my money into a business that regularly shows favoritism to specific children. Heres to hoping.
