        8/13/2022 56 F Well maintained trail. Took us 2 hrs to get to the fire lookout. We didn't see many mosquitos. We avoided staying at Eunice Lake for too long. Also used Avon Skin So Soft, so that might have helped. Recommend arriving before 9 AM to get a closer parking spot to the trailhead.

        The Fire lookout had amazing views and the hike took us a total of 7 Hours but that's because of the road closure (9 additional miles round-trip from parking lot). Write hike 16 miles overall.
