Perfectly serene trail atop a mountain and descending onto the depths of a lush forest. Breathe the best and cleanest air you will ever breathe. As the sound of the river draws you further in. I got as far as the 2nd log bridge and had to go back because it was starting to get dark. Which i ended up in walking back for a while, thank God i met not predators. It was pitch black, which showed me how bright the moon was. Overall it was a cool and scary hike, i recommend day hike not night lol.

Parking: Parking is along the road or immediately next to the restrooms. This is the fee station for Mount Rainier National Park. Review the information and buy a parking pass here if you don't already have one upon arrival. Fees: Visit the fee station here to buy a parking pass for the park. There is no other fee station along the Mowich Road, so be aure to plan ahead and avoid a ticket! Restrooms: Two vault toilets here. Whenever I have visited the restrooms were clean and surprisingly well stocked.
