Absolutely horrible. Just a building to grab insurance money. I had an annual physical exam scheduled. I had scheduled at this place because they did labs here. I show up for my appointment, a namesake physical exam was done in 5 minutes with recommendation to do blood work somewhere else. They said they don't do labs on Saturday ( out of the blue, no early notice). They recommended me to another place, I went there and no labs there too on Saturday. Why keep spinning me around. During the visit they kept speaking about covid vaccine. When I said let's do it.. They said sorry we are not doing it today. What does this place exist except to collect insurance money? Horrible horrible place, please stay away.

Awful. Just terrible medical care. Dr Platz is great, all else is not good. Many horror stories over the years even when it was Northshore Clinic and times were less 'adversarial'. We moved and get great medical care now.

I love Dr. Herron and the staff at their clinics. My love for Evergreen Health as a whole is gone. Since the pandemic things went downhill fast and remained there. To see my amazing PCP I must wait 3.5 months or more. When I do see him referrals don't always go out. Two referrals were not sent this last visit. One internal referral still has not called me after more than a month. Because it takes weeks to months to see a provider at their primary care clinic patients are forced to use Urgent Care for typical office visit care. Now Evergreen Health is playing hard ball with my insurance company despite the level of care tanking over the last few years. It's no wonder my insurer won't give in. The insurer is paying out far more than necessary due to patients having to utilize urgent care for PCP office visits. Today I tried to schedule a $0.00 copay appointment with any provider across four locations for a sinus/ear infection. The soonest available appointment is 17 days out. My only option is a $50 copay visit to Urgent Care. My insurance company will be charged more simply because I had to visit Urgent Care. This profits over care model is killing the healthcare industry. Oh and their Urgent Care clinic is now only open until 5pm. Granted they are open on weekends. Weekends is actually awesome. Weekends and after hours is what urgent care clinics were designed for. Not to replace PCP office visits. I received a message from Evergreen, via the patient portal, claiming they are "doing everything they can" to renew their contract with my insurer..... insinuating my insurer is at fault for not coming to an agreement. As much as it pains me to lose Dr. Herron after more than a decade of care, I am ready to move on from Evergreen Health. I wish Dr. Herron would find a new practice to join. This latest referral blunder is going to cost me several hundred dollars in increased copays if I can't be seen before January 1st. That's on top of the $50 copay for unnecessary Urgent Care visits. Evergreen Health is driving away patients and insurers with their new Urgent Care Clinic business model. Forcing patients to utilize Urgent Care is costing insurers more. When it comes time to negotiate contracts insurers are rightfully pushing back because Evergreen is staffing Urgent care and not the PCP clinics. The staff and providers at Evergreen Healthcare clinics are outstanding. The corporate side, focused solely on short term revenue, is destroying the Evergreen Healthcare we know and once loved.
