I always feel so much better after coming here. The front desk is always so nice and welcoming. Dr. Wes knows exactly what is going on. I am so impressed with the difference when I leave. I fully recommend coming here!

Dr. Wesley was awesome! This was my second visit to The Joint, first visit to this location and yet again, a wonderful experience. My back felt 10x better after my adjustment and I look forward to my next visit! Thank you, Dr. Wesley!

Disclaimer: Im not the type of person to write a review. I am definitely not the type to write a bad review. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I went to The Joint - Bothell today and didnt have the best experience. As soon as I arrived I was able to go back right away which was nice. However, Id never met the Doctor before and he never introduced himself. I still dont know what his name is but looking at the website I believe it was Dr. Wesley Niemela. From the very beginning of the adjustment I felt like a massive inconvenience to him. Ive gone to the chiropractor since I was a baby so when the doctors move me into certain positions my body naturally falls into place. I guess I was falling into positions He didnt want me in and instead of gently correcting my position he began getting frustrated and was very short with me. As if I was trying to make his job harder. I was apologizing but with every word I said I felt like I was becoming more and more of an inconvenience. I began to warn him about my neck, letting him know many chiropractors tell me my neck is tricky. He was getting frustrated that my neck wasnt cracking and instead of using distraction techniques that my brain needs to relax he just kept telling me that I need to relax and that its not got anything to do with my neck, I just have a hard time relaxing. His snide comments from earlier mixed with the struggle to crack my neck was making me very nervous and I was beginning to have an anxiety attack. He was very rough, didnt ask me one personal question to get to know me, and was unkind in his words. Maybe Im too sensitive, maybe he was having a bad day, but I just dont wish to be treated like that by someone who is doing a very dangerous task. All that to say, if youre used to having a very personal relationship with your chiropractor or struggle with anxiety this is not the place for you. If you like a rough adjustment with no personal conversation exchanged then this place will work fine. If you are tight on money like me and this place is the most affordable option, just go to Bellevue location instead. I prefer the doctors at that location.
