We have a great doctor at peace health. My 2 stars is the because of the phone system. Its pregnant WOMAN not people! Thats extremely offensive. Get it right!

I am normally a person who leaves glowing reviews for healthcare staff. In general I think nurses are angels. My mom has been in and out of the hospital a lot in recent years and I've come across the gamut of care, and this place honestly just sucks. As others have said, the staff acts like you're a nuisance. Plus, they don't listen to what the patient (or their advocate, me in this case) tell them, and seem pretty inept. My mom is here because she fell and may have broken her sternum and they keep pushing on it. She has fibromyalgia and they just ignore that. She screamed when they tried to lay her a certain way and they just shushed her and told her she had to do it (still can't figure out why, she hasn't yet gone for X-ray). no doctor yet, and she's been asking for help to go to bathroom for an hour.
The only reason I give them 2 stars is because we were here a month ago for her endoscopy and THAT staff (and Dr) was great. ER staff needs serious work.
Update: added a star solely due to the new nurse Michael who is everything a nurse should be, very thankful he took over and is knowledgeable and compassionate with my mom!

Literally the worst place to go. They dont care about you, they hate to see you come in even if youre screaming in pain. The workers there act like youre a nuisance when this is literally their job. Why did you choose healthcare as your career and then not want to help people and be so annoyed by every patient coming in? Thats so pathetic. Been there 3 times for ruptured ovarian cysts and all they do is make me wait for 3 hours to get in a room to tell me to go home and tough out pain. Just advil. Took a friend there because of really bad chest pains to the point she couldnt sit properly because of the shooting pains and they told her it was period cramps and gave her a pamphlet on period pain (???). They just dont care and youre better off driving 45 min to the Skagit hospital, even if its serious. If my hand was chopped off and in need of immediate service, I would be so much better off just driving there to get actually taken care of. Im so surprised at how this hospital is still running. Embarrassing.
