Childbirth Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center

I had my son here February 8th of this year by c section and he unfortunately had to stay in the nursery for an additional 3 weeks, during the entirety of us being there they took such amazing care of me and my baby boy, all the staff is beyond caring, friendly, and just amazing. I cannot thank them enough for everything theyve done for me and my family!

My daughter who is now 2 weeks over due has had her induce date changed three times, sent home once without it because (they couldnt do it safely). Then said they would call at 6:40 the next day, but didnt. And we are STILL waiting to hear something. If Peace Health cant provide adequate care to the community maybe they should consider not being our only option and allow another entity in the county.

Had my first baby here! Loved my experience! I wasnt around kids much before, had a very very difficult pregnancy, was exhausted, English isnt my first language and so I was very anxious about giving birth, very scared. But thanks to the staff it went hundreds of times easier than what I would have expected! They were very patient with me, answered all my the silliest questions and checked on me often. The room was excellent and I had everything I needed! Im very grateful

I planed on a Birth Center birth and needed to transfer to the hospital. Received exceptional service both during labor and after. The first thing they did was ask for my birth plan and went over it with me. Things have changed a lot since the old days and given a second chance, I would choose prenatal care again at the birth center and a vaginal birth at Peace Health.

Staff is really good but there is old lady at reception she is really rude. She needs to learn to show some respect to people coming in and other nationalities too. She is somehow not happy when I or my family member visits she also talks in different tone with other nationalities. But nurses and doctors are really great its just that old lady at reception and shes always Ive been working here for past 10 years bad experience with her
