First, I just want to emphasize that Theo, Steve, and Scott were excellent PTs. They gave me good direction and excellent encouragement. Also, a shoutout to Sophie at the front desk if your insurance provider wants to stop paying for your treatment, Sophie will go to bat for you. This one-star review is for Alisa. Alisa was my primary PT. She was assigned to me to help me with my hip pain. Initially, she was ok but she didn't really seem into her job, showing more interest in chatting than providing meaningful feedback. That was fine for me because my dedication to the home exercises is what was helping me improve the most. The problem was that I didn't really understand WHY I was having hip pain. How would I explain the problem to my doctor or another PT in the future? When I asked Alisa to tell me what she thought was wrong, to her credit she mentioned some muscles and ligaments but didn't elaborate. I didn't quite understand everything she said, so when I asked her to show me the problem areas on a diagram of the hip, Alisa ROLLED HER EYES at me and dismissed me. After that, I had a lot of trouble staying motivated with my exercises at home. She made me feel so discouraged. After 10 sessions, I still don't totally understand what the problem is with my hip because I didn't dare ask Alisa any more questions. After that, when she normally would be chatting with me while I was doing exercises, she was talking to her coworkers while smiling at me. I got the impression that she was sharing a damaging opinion. To come to a medical professional for help, only to be ridiculed is devastating. The job of a doctor is to heal, and though my hip is a little better, my trust in the profession is the worse for wear. SPT Factoria is a great place to receive care, but if you're the proactive-type just be sure to ask for anyone else but Alisa.

SPT is my go to for getting therapy done! And the people there are so nice and helpful especially Sophie!

Sophie is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! She is organized and able to answer any questions about the clinic. Its nice to have such a genuine person greet you when you visit.
