Had dinner on 6/22. Arrived at 5:00 PM for our reservstion. Waiter handed us the menu. I asked if it was still happy hour and he responded yes, so I ordered a beer. We placed our order and even ordered a couple more items that had happy hour pricing. When we got our bill none of the items had the happy hour pricing. When i questioned the waiter he said, oh yes let me take care of that. He brought the check back and only the beer was reduced. I questioned again and said it wasn't happy hour. I saud you told us it was still happy hour and you gave me the drink on happy hour. His response was I did not tell you it was happy hour and you will not get that price. Very embarrassing with people around us. So you can't trust what the staff tells you, and for $6.00 they just lost a customer.

The worst Gyu-Kaku location I've ever been to in the U.S.(I've been to at least 7-10 locations) in terms of the service. Servers are always too busy and not properly trained. It's a shame that this is the only location in the Seattle area. Tried 3 times and ended up complained to manager every visits. Not going back anymore.

Staff and service is always great. Cant go wrong with this place.
